FS1, NBCSN Seeing Big Dips In Home Distribution Numbers

Distribution for both FS1 and NBCSN fell below the 80 million mark, according to the most recent numbers from Nielsen. FS1 is in 79.874 million homes, according to Nielsen’s February estimate, the lowest distribution number in the channel’s history. Fox launched FS1 in August '13 to around 90 million subscribers. NBCSN is in 79.879 million homes, according to Nielsen’s February '20 estimates, marking the channel’s lowest distribution number since February '14. NBCSN reached its distribution high in October '17 with 85.2 million homes. ESPN and ESPN2 still are above the 80 million homes mark, though those numbers have been dropping, too. ESPN has a household distribution of 82.868 million homes; ESPN2 is at 82.834 million. Distribution for both channels has not fallen below 80 million in more than 14 years, which is as far back as our records go.
