NFL Denying Report That Mexico City Will Host Patriots-Dolphins

Multiple NFL writers, including the Boston Globe's Ben Volin and the South Florida Sun Sentinel's Dave Hyde, are reporting that the NFL disputes a claim from Fox Sports Mexico that the Patriots and Dolphins will play each other in Mexico City next season. Fox Sports Mexico's Ricardo Garcia Ochoa last night reported the Dolphins would serve as the home team in the matchup at Estadio Azteca. No firm date was given in the initial report except that it would be during the '20 season (THE DAILY). The Dolphins last year announced that they "would be playing a home game in 2020 as part of the league's International Series" (NBCMIAMI.com, 1/28).
