LeBron James and the Lakers secured the top spots on the NBA's Most Popular Jersey and Team Merchandise lists from October '19 through the end of the year. Results are based on NBAStore.com sales. Bucks F Giannis Antetokounmpo (No. 2), Celtics F Jayson Tatum (No. 4) and Mavericks G Luka Doncic (No. 6) all earned their highest rankings to date. Pelicans F Zion Williamson (No. 15) made his debut on the list (NBA). NBCSPORTS.com's Kurt Helin noted Tatum climbing up to fourth "shows both the growth in his popularity and the power of Celtics’ nation." The "fast-rising popularity" of Doncic also is "evident with him being sixth" (NBCSPORTS.com, 1/17). USA TODAY's Jeff Zillgitt noted the Raptors (No. 4) "made the top five for the first time in franchise history," and the Nets (No. 10) "finished in the top 10 for the first time" since '14 (USA TODAY, 1/18).
