In S.F., Rusty Simmons notes Microsoft over Wild Card weekend unveiled a spot for its Surface Pro 7 titled, "Your Dream is Coming," featuring 49ers offensive assistant Katie Sowers. The "stirring commercial" begins with Sowers "reading a childhood note about wanting 'to be on a real football team' and follows her all the way to the 49ers' practice field." Sowers in '17 became the second woman to be hired to a full-time coaching position with an NFL team when she joined the 49ers. She was promoted to offensive assistant this season (S.F. CHRONICLE, 1/8).

DRINK UP: GOLF DIGEST's Dave Shedloski noted golfer Abraham Ancer and his business partner, Aron Marquez, are "launching a brand of tequila, Fletcha Azul, which he is displaying across the front of his cap." Ancer said the tequila brand has been "in the works for over a year," and he and Marquez -- who are both from Mexico -- are "really excited." Ancer: "We've been nonstop working on it, so really happy with all the profiles of our tequila and everything" (GOLFDIGEST.com, 1/7).

ROLLING ELSEWHERE: PBA Tour bowler Sean Rash has "signed a multi-year deal" with ball manufacturer 900 Global heading into the '20 season after spending his entire 15-year career thus far with Brunswick. Rash's move "represents a significant investment by 900 Global to enhance its brand awareness through one of the PBA Tour's biggest stars" (FLOBOWLING.com, 1/7).
