Audience Analysis: Big Ten Title Game Up; ACC Lower With Blowout

Fox drew 13.6 million viewers for Ohio State's win over Wisconsin on Saturday night, marking the second-best Big Ten football championship since the event began in '11. The only game to draw a higher audience was Michigan State-Ohio State in '13. OSU-Wisconsin is up from 8.7 million viewers last year for OSU-Northwestern. Meanwhile, ABC on Saturday night drew just under 4 million viewers for Clemson's rout of Virginia, marking the least-viewed ACC Championship since '12, when FSU beat Georgia Tech on ESPN. This year's game also is the lowest on ABC for the ACC title game since Virginia Tech-Boston College drew 3.9 million viewers in '08.

NOTES: ABC and Fox both finished the season averaging 5.1 million viewers for college football games in the 12:00pm ET window....A national window featuring Patriots-Chiefs led CBS to its best Sunday NFL regular-season doubleheader in four years. CBS remains up 8% compared to the same point in the NFL season in '18.
