Former MLS CMO Howard Handler Named President Of 313 Presents

Former MLS CMO HOWARD HANDLER has been named President of 313 Presents, the company that "handles entertainment operations at a host of Detroit-area venues, including Little Caesars Arena," according to Brian McCollum of the DETROIT FREE PRESS. Handler was with MLS from '11-17 and most recently served as the President of H2 Advisors, a consulting firm whose clients include the XFL. Handler replaces TOM WILSON, who had served as 313 Presents interim President since the company's founding in '17. Wilson "will remain with the company in the role" of President Emeritus. 313 Presents was "born when the ILITCH family's Olympia Entertainment and TOM GORES' Palace Sports & Entertainment combined for a joint venture" in late '17 after the Pistons' move from the Palace of Auburn Hills to LCA, combining the region's "two biggest entertainment rivals" (DETROIT FREE PRESS, 12/6).
