The IOC has proposed to elect three new members to its Exec Board: FIFA President GIANNI INFANTINO, Japanese Olympic Committee President YASHUHIRO YAMASHITA and ITF President DAVID HAGGERTY. All three will be submitted to the IOC Session that will meet Jan. 10 in Lausanne, Switzerland. Haggerty could become the third American on the IOC Exec Board, joining Gold Medal-winning U.S. cross-country skier KIKKAN RANDALL and IOC VP ANITA DEFRANTZ. The U.S. has had between three and four members on the board for most of the past decade, but went down to two after former USOPC Chair LARRY PROBST retired Dec. 31, 2018 (THE DAILY).

ON THE BLOCK: Memorabilia from the personal collection of Baseball HOFer BILL MAZEROSKI "will be sold" by Mark L. Ferry Auctioneers of Unity on Jan. 1 (TRIBLIVE.com, 12/4). Meanwhile, a collection from former NFLer ROCKY BLEIER, which is part of Leland auction house's '19 fall classic edition of memorabilia, "closes bidding" at 10:00pm ET tomorrow.
