F1's Chase Carey: No Decision On Bratches' Future Yet

F1 CEO Chase Carey said that "no decision has yet been made" on Managing Dir of Commercial Operations Sean Bratches' future, with Bratches set to leave his role at the end of the year and the pair planning to "discuss options once the season is over," according to Adam Cooper of MOTORSPORT.com. Bratches is "known to have issues with the amount of travelling involved" in his role, as his family is "still based in the USA, while he works out of London." Carey said he and Bratches are "discussing" their plan. He added, "We're engaged. No decision has been made." Meanwhile, Carey also said that he has "no immediate plans to step down, amid ongoing talk" about Mercedes Head of Motorsport Toto Wolff as his potential replacement. He did concede that he "doesn't see [F1 CEO] as a long-term job" (MOTORSPORT.com, 12/2).
