CAA Promotes Paul Danforth To President Of Sports Division

PAUL DANFORTH has been promoted to CAA Sports President, while CAA Sports Consulting Head GREG LUCKMAN has exited the agency. Danforth, previously CAA Sports Global Head of Sales, will continue to work with CAA Sports co-Heads HOWARD NUCHOW and MICHAEL LEVINE. In his new role, Danforth will add oversight of the Brand Consulting division, as well as CAA Sports' new international football firm, Base Soccer Agency. Danforth will also continue to work with Nuchow, Levine and CAA Sports Head of International MATTHEW O'DONOHOE to guide the agency's efforts overseas, while leading the agency's property sales, talent sales and executive search businesses. Nuchow and Levine made the announcement of Danforth's promotion this morning.  Danforth first joined CAA Sports in '07, and under his guidance, the agency completed more than $4B in new sponsorship business on behalf of its clients, as well as negotiating agreements for the new Yankee Stadium, the Marquee partnership deal at MSG and naming rights at both Levi’s Stadium and Chase Center. Luckman first joined CAA Sports in '11. No details were available about his departure.
