Howard's firm focuses primarily on sports tech ventures, including esports and sports bettingSEVENTYSIX CAPITAL

Former MLBer and ESPN analyst RYAN HOWARD is a "partner in a sports-tech venture capital firm called SeventySix Capital," which focuses on esports, sports betting and sports tech. One of the firm's portfolio companies is Diamond Kinetics, which is "changing the game" of baseball. Diamond Kinetics recently signed a deal with USA Baseball to "become the organization's official player development partner -- utilizing the SwingTracker bat sensor and PitchTracker smart baseball technologies." Howard and SeventySix Capital "do some fascinating stuff, merging modern technology with modern sports trends" (ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH, 11/11).

NAMES: Roc Nation has signed Twins LF EDDIE ROSARIO for representation. MLB agent and Roc Nation Sports Managing Dir of Baseball KYLE THOUSAND is representing him. Rosario is arbitration-eligible for the second time this offseason and will be a free agent after the '21 season. He was a member of the Puerto Rico team for the '13 and '17 World Baseball Classic, in which the team won a silver medal both times (Liz Mullen, THE DAILY)....Spurs F LAMARCUS ALDRIDGE spent part of his day yesterday "handing out H-E-B holiday meal ingredients to 100 students and their families" at the Calderon Boys & Girls Club (SAN ANTONIO EXPRESS-NEWS, 11/10)....Gold Medal-winning U.S. gymnast ALY RAISMAN and Gold Medal-winning U.S. snowboarder CHLOE KIM will "appear in the latest 'CHARLIE'S ANGELS' film," which debuts on Friday (BOSTON GLOBE, 11/8).
