The National Lacrosse League will begin publishing real-time game highlights using Grabyo, a cloud-based video production service.
The in-game highlights will be shared across the league’s social media channels starting Nov. 29, when the 2019-20 NLL season begins. Grabyo’s platform will allow the NLL’s video staff to edit and distribute highlights that are optimized for mobile viewing, streamlining the video production and publishing process.
“As we continue to focus on enhancing the fan experience with our digital-first strategy, we realize the value of speed and ease of use in getting video to our fans wherever and however they are consuming content,” NLL Commissioner Nick Sakiewicz said in a press release.
London-based Grabyo originally expanded into the U.S. market in 2017 through its social video partnerships with The Rugby Channel and BeIN Sports. Turner Sports owns the broadcast media rights for the National Lacrosse League and streams many games on B/R Live. The league recently struck a multi-year deal with analytics company Sportlogiq.
