Mariners Debuting Flexible Season-Ticket Plans For Next Year

Fans can buy flex tickets at discounts ranging from 10-50% off the dynamic single-game priceGETTY IMAGES

The Mariners have introduced a flexible season-ticket membership for the '20 season, calling it the first such MLB offering that gives fans the opportunity to build their plan throughout the season. Fans can use an online member portal to choose how many tickets, seat locations and games they want, at discounts ranging from 10-50% off the dynamic single-game price. Flex customers select from six membership levels, each with its own associated discounts and benefits. If their plans change, they can add or exchange tickets at the discounted member rate. All six Flex levels give members the ability to attend all 81 home games. As MLB confronts a drop in attendance for the fourth consecutive season, clubs are increasingly implementing creative ticket packages to draw fans to ballparks. While many clubs have adopted monthly subscription or ticket voucher models, the Mariners' Flex Membership is unique in the amount of control it gives fans.
