Australian NBL Inks Deal to Livestream Select Euroleague Basketball Games

The Australian National Basketball League has signed a deal to livestream select Euroleague Basketball competitions throughout the 2019-20 season. The games will be broadcast on NBL TV, an OTT subscription service owned by the Australian league.

Up to four Euroleague games will livestream each week on NBL TV. The platform will also offer on-demand full replays of games, highlights, and condensed replays of games. Several Australian-born players and former NBL players now play for teams across the Euroleague, which is part of the reason behind the NBL deciding to link up with the European organization.

“Australian basketball is enjoying a golden era and our players in Europe have been major factors in growing the Australian basketball footprint at an international level,” NBL commissioner Jeremy Loelige said in a press release.

An NBL TV subscription costs $5 per month. The platform also livestreams all NBL games and provides game replays, as well as 300 hours of classic NBL games.
