In San Antonio, Madalyn Mendoza notes Chick-fil-A is offering Spurs fans a new promotion called "Spurs Road Win-You Win," which "works by fans either signing in or creating an account on the restaurant's app, then claiming the free offer by scanning or placing a mobile order at any participating location." The free items will "only be available for a limited time after Spurs road wins and the restaurant will honor Saturday road wins on Mondays since it is closed Sundays." The Spurs on Tuesday "shared the news that Taco Bell will give out two free seasoned beef crunchy tacos to each customer when they buy a large drink on any Tuesday or Thursday Spurs game days" (SAN ANTONIO EXPRESS-NEWS, 11/1).

HELPING GROW AWARENESS: Serena Williams' role as a spokesperson for the Allstate Foundation Purple Purse program was discussed on "CBS This Morning," with CBS' Gayle King saying the effort "sheds light on financial abuse." CBS' Jericka Duncan: "The National Network to End Domestic Violence says financial abuse occurs in nearly all domestic violence cases (and) it's a fact that got the attention of Serena Williams, who's lending her voice to a campaign about the warning signs." Williams: "I had no idea what financial abuse was when I read that 99% of domestic violence cases do involve financial abuse. I felt like that was a really, really high number, and it's shocking" ("CBS This Morning," 10/31).

NOTES: The NHL Panthers extended their partnership with Broward Health, with the Salah Foundation Children's Hospital at Broward Health becoming the official pediatric hospital of the team. The hospital will debut a new Panthers decorated family room that is expected to be completed by next month (Panthers)....Grubhub will be the "first partner" for the ESL Collegiate Esports platform, and will "sponsor the ESL Collegiate Fall Invitational" (ESPORTSOBSERVER.com, 10/31).
