Sources: Former Big3 Commissioner Recants Claims Against Co-Founder

Former Big3 Commissioner Roger Mason Jr. is "recanting his explosive claims" that league co-Founder Jeff Kwatinetz "used racial slurs when referring to African American players," according to sources cited by Richard Morgan of the N.Y. POST. Sources said that Mason has "agreed to retract claims" that Kwatinetz "called some of the league's players 'rich n----rs.'" Mason made the allegations in March '18, after he was "fired as a commissioner." He "later sued" in an L.A. state court. In an October settlement, Mason said he "never heard Kwatinetz make any racist or racially charged remarks." The settlement also shows the Big3 is "no longer accusing Mason of corruption" (N.Y. POST, 10/31).
