WarnerMedia Signs NBA Star Dwayne Wade to Work With TNT and BleacherReport

Retired NBA star Dwyane Wade has reached a multi-year content production deal with WarnerMedia that will span a variety of different roles.

WarnerMedia will collaborate with Wade’s production company, 59th & Prairie Entertainment, on a number of new projects. Specific details on those have not yet been announced, but Wade’s company is currently working on a documentary chronicling his life and career. That project is being produced in partnership with Imagine Documentaries.

Wade will join WarnerMedia’s Turner Sports as a basketball commentator this season, appearing as an in-studio analyst on TNT’s Tuesday night NBA coverage alongside Shaquille O'Neal and Candace Parker. He will also feature during Turner’s coverage of the NCAA’s March Madness tournament.

Wade will additionally become a creative director for Bleacher Report, exploring “new and unique ways to further advance the connection between sports and culture to generate custom content experiences that resonate with young, passionate fans,” according a WarnerMedia press release.

“I’m thrilled and grateful to be joining the WarnerMedia family with many exciting opportunities ahead,” Wade said in the press release. “After sixteen seasons in the NBA, I look forward to connecting with my fans in this new role and bringing my own perspective to the game I love.”
