49ers' Guido Bullish On Benefits Of Food, Beverage Decision

The 49ers are including food and beverage in the cost of season tickets next year, and team President Al Guido said it came as fans have been "screaming, frankly, for more value as a season ticket member." Guido said this was "really the No. 1 benefit that they were asking for." Guido: "The quality of service is great, the quality of food is fantastic, but now having it included in that season ticket package, we really feel like that'll be a strong benefit moving forward." Guido said for NFL teams, the "four big core revenue streams" are media, tickets, suite sales and sponsorships. Guido: "We frankly feel that food and beverage is one of those benefits that should be easy to get and the quality should be very good." He said the 49ers are "lucky in the sense" that their fans have been "fantastic to us over the six first years" of Levi's Stadium's existence ("Power Lunch," CNBC, 10/22).
