Audience Analysis: Oklahoma-Texas Rivalry Delivers For Fox

Fox drew 7.252 million viewers for Saturday's Oklahoma-Texas showdown, making it the net's most-watched game of the season to date. The game was up 29% compared to last year's thriller (5.6 million viewers) and was the most-watched in the series since '09. It also was the most-watched game on any network Saturday. Meanwhile, ESPN on Saturday had its most-watched regular-season game in nearly two years, as the much-hyped primetime top 10 matchup between Florida and LSU averaged 6.45 million viewers. LSU's win drew the most viewers for the net since Alabama-Mississippi State drew 7.126 million on Nov. 11, 2017. Florida-LSU also drew one of the top 5 viewership figures all-time for ESPN in the month of October. The game peaked at 7.428 million viewers in the second half.

GREAT START TO THE DAY: While Oklahoma-Texas on Fox won the noon window, ESPN's telecast of the South Carolina-Georgia upset in the same window drew 3.247 million viewers. That represents ESPN's second-most watched game in nearly three years in that window, behind only Georgia-Missouri in '18 (3.392 million viewers).

SPEED DEMONS: NBC Sports averaged 199,000 viewers across its 16 IMSA races this season. Last year, the races averaged 128,000 viewers across Fox Sports networks.
