California Casino Becomes Founding Partner Of Allegiant Stadium

Team officials said San Manuel likely won't be the Raiders' only casino partnersan manuel casino

The Raiders have partnered with California-based San Manuel Casino, which team President Marc Badain said will become a "founding partner" of the team as it moves to Las Vegas, according to Bryan Horwath of the LAS VEGAS SUN. Terms were not disclosed for the agreement. Badain said that the partnership "made sense on a number of levels, including the fact that the Raiders will maintain a strong Southern California following" after the move. San Manuel Band of Mission Indians CEO Loren Gill said that sponsorship deals with sports franchises "have worked well for the brand." He added that as part of the deal, San Manuel will "have use of an Allegiant Stadium suite for games, along with naming rights to a food and beverage area and advertising space in different places at the facility." San Manuel also is a sponsor of the Golden Knights (LAS VEGAS SUN, 10/15). Badain said that he "doesn't expect San Manuel to be the last casino company to have a sponsorship" at Allegiant Stadium. He said, "There will be others that are coming. We have a number of other founding partners to announce. It's really up to the partners to decide when they want to do it. We let them do it on their time frames so there'll be some others in the coming months into the first part of 2020" (LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL, 10/15).
