The XFL named MSG Co. Chief Information Officer DAVID MICHAEL Chief Technology Officer. He will be responsible for developing and overseeing all enterprise, digital product and football technology strategies and initiatives for the league and its eight teams. Michael will report to XFL President & COO JEFFREY POLLACK, who said the role of CTO is "mission-critical and David is a proven leader and innovator" (Eric Prisbell, THE DAILY).

EXECS: Boston-based WBZ-FM Program Dir MIKE THOMAS is "leaving at the end of the year." He was named Good Karma Brands Market Manager and will be based in Chicago. Good Karma Brands "recently took over operation of the former ESPN Chicago station." Thomas, who also serves as Beasley Media National Brand Manager, was "approached out of the blue" by Good Karma Brands CEO CRAIG KARMAZIN (BOSTON GLOBE, 10/12)....Executive search firm WittKieffer named former ECU AD JEFF COMPHER Principal. He will lead searches for ADs, coaches and senior-level administrators (WittKieffer)....The A's promoted The CORE Sales Manager CHRISTOPHER FLYNN to Senior Manager. The CORE is the team's sports business development academy for recent college graduates (THE DAILY)....Immortals Gaming Club named private investment banking company Stephens Inc. Associate/Media & Entertainment ROYCE WILSON VP/Corporate Partnerships & Media Sales. IGC also promoted KAREN HENNESSY-COLES to VP/People + Culture and JOSH COOK to VP/Content. Wilson and Hennessy-Coles report directly to CEO ARI SEGAL. Cook reports to Chief Digital Officer TAL SHACHAR (Immortals).
