Bianca Andreescu Adds Rolex To Her Growing Roster Of Sponsors

Tennis player Bianca Andreescu has "signed a contract with the Swiss luxury watch manufacturer, Rolex," according to Curtis Rush of FORBES. In addition to Rolex, Andreescu has sponsorship deals with Nike, BMW and tennis equipment maker Head, and those renewal fees are "expected to jump when the current deals lapse." Rolex has a "major presence in the sports world with endorsements in golf, motor sports, tennis and yachting." Some of the world's "most famous athletes pitch Rolex watches, including Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Roger Federer and Lindsey Vonn" (FORBES.com, 10/13). Other tennis stars sponsored by Rolex include Milos Raonic, Angelique Kerber and Caroline Wozniacki (MONTREAL JOURNAL, 10/12).

NATURAL BEAUTY: FASHION MAGAZINE's Maddison Glendinning noted Andreescu has a "new collaboration" with U.S. beauty brand P8NT. The partnership sees Andreescu featured in a "new campaign (shot in Toronto) -- and she also leant her hand to design." Andreescu said, "I helped customize a limited-edition collection box that would include three of your favourite shades from the collection." The box’ design has been "directly influenced by her chosen career path." Andreescu: "The idea of the box including three polishes is inspired by the concept of a can of tennis balls." P8NT’s focus on vegan products was an "important factor for Andreescu" (FASHIONMAGAZINE.com, 10/10).
