IndyCar, IMS Name Chicago Firm New Agency Of Record

IndyCar and Indianapolis Motor Speedway have jointly named Chicago-based Schafer Condon Carter their new agency of record, helping the Hulman & Co.-owned properties with marketing. SCC -- which says it counts the Cubs, Pacers and WNBA Indiana Fever as clients -- will assist in the creation of the '20 IndyCar season and Indy 500 event marketing campaigns. It was unclear who IndyCar's prior agency was. Hulman & Co. CEO Mark Miles in a statement said, "SCC is the right choice to help the IndyCar and Indianapolis 500 brands gain an even greater national profile." IndyCar put out an RFP in recent months.
