Wisconsin To Add Premium Seating To Camp Randall South End Zone

The Univ. of Wisconsin is planning a renovation to Camp Randall Stadium's south end zone that would "add premium seating options, including boxes and club seats, indoor and outdoor hospitality clubs and premium concessions offerings," according to Colten Bartholomew of the WISCONSIN STATE JOURNAL. The project's timeline is "still being finalized, and its cost won't be determined until it is put up for bid." An architect is "expected to be chosen by the end of the year." The project's website states information collected in a '16 market study and the "waiting list for current premium seating options at Camp Randall are key reasons for the project." Currently, none of Camp Randall's premium seating options "are in the lower bowl" (WISCONSIN STATE JOURNAL, 10/11). In Milwaukee, Nick Williams noted Legends is "assisting UW with the renovation and ticketing for the new area." UW last renovated Camp Randall Stadium in '05 -- a $109.5M project that included a "premium seating structure on the east side of the stadium which features 72 suites, 337 club seats and 590 'Varsity Club' seats" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 10/10).
