Bucks' Marc Lasry Talks Team's Potential, Organizational Changes

Bucks co-Owners Marc Lasry, Jamie Dinan and Mike Fascitelli were in Milwaukee on Friday to discuss the state of the team, with Lasry said the organization has to "maintain" its high level of performance in recent years, according to Matt Velazquez of the MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL. Lasry said, "This year you want the exact same thing to happen but to get to the NBA Finals. We've got the talent, we've got the team." Lasry spoke about his transition to being the team's Governor and what co-Owner Wes Edens' role is now that he is no longer serving in the chief operating role. He said, "Not much has really changed. I think the difference in being the Governor is in the NBA you're the one who has got to attend all the meetings. The real difference is you're the one who is sitting on the committees. For the last five years before I was Governor I went to all the meetings -- Mike goes, Jamie goes -- I wasn't able to go on any of the committees because only the Governor is able to." On him and Edens working together, Lasry said, "For us, it has been a good partnership and it still is. We talk all the time, we try to figure out what makes sense." Edens was the "only owner not in attendance due to a scheduling conflict" (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 10/5).
