Buyers & Sellers: Blackhawks Stars Kane, Toews Sell Mansions

Blackhawks RW PATRICK KANE sold his home in Buffalo for $2.5M. Outdoor amenities at the 5,878 square-foot lakeside home include a giant patio, basketball court, in-ground pool, boat launch and boathouse, along with 282 feet of beachfront. Inside, a "step-down living room with a wall of windows" overlooks Lake Erie (BUFFALO NEWS, 10/2). Meanwhile, Blackhawks C JONATHAN TOEWS sold his condo in Chicago for $6.5M, a "little more than three months after putting it on the market" for $7.25M. The four-bedroom, 4,220-square-foot unit with 600 feet of outdoor terrace comes with views of Lake Michigan (CHICAGOBUSINESS.com, 9/30).

BUYERS & SELLERS: Clippers F PAUL GEORGE purchased a home in L.A. that was previously owned by Nets C DEANDRE JORDAN for $16.1M. The three-story, "elevator-equipped mansion" in Pacific Palisades features "more than 10,000 square feet of living space" with seven bedrooms and 10 baths. The master suite has a "private balcony with sweeping vistas that stretch to the Pacific Ocean." The patio also "directly overlooks the mini-estate’s backyard, which features a putting green, swimmer’s pool with waterfall feature, an outdoor kitchen and half-court basketball court" (VARIETY.com, 9/26)....Padres 3B MANNY MACHADO purchased a waterfront mansion in Coral Gables, Fla., for $11.3M. The 8,305-square-foot, three-story home has six bedrooms, 7.5 bathrooms, a pool, a dock and floor-to-ceiling windows facing Biscayne Bay (BIZJOURNALS.com, 9/30)....Phillies SS JEAN SEGURA listed his home in Seattle for $5M. The 6,394-square-foot home was built in '17 on a half-acre lot in Bellevue's Lochleven neighborhood. It has "six ensuite bedrooms and seven baths, a home theater, wine cellar, rooftop terrace, and a fully integrated smart-home system for light, shades and sound" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 9/30).
