Fans of the Astros, Braves and Nationals Can Now Buy Tickets Via Satisfi’s Chatbots

Satisfi Labs is expanding its AI ticketing assistant to MLB’s Washington Nationals, Atlanta Braves and Houston Astros, the NBA’s Orlando Magic and San Antonio Spurs, and MLS’s Vancouver Whitecaps.

The company’s virtual assistants integrate with platforms such as Ticketmaster, Telecharge, Tickets.com and AXS. Fans of the newly added teams can now search for and purchase tickets directly from Satisfi’s automated chatbot.

“By managing ticketing with a conversational interface, the guest experience is now streamlined and venues are able to promote ticketing inventory on the platform.” said Don White, CEO of Satisfi Labs, in a press release.

Major League Baseball is an investor in Satisfi Labs, and the company now provides chatbot engagement platforms for more than 20 MLB teams. The Rockets and Magic are the first NBA teams to adapt the technology, while Vancouver is now the second MLS club after Los Angeles FC to partner with Satisfi.

The company’s chatbots can do more than simply assist fans. They can collect data on interactions, helping teams learn more about their customers. White told SportTechie in July that his company’s chatbots respond to as many as 5,000 interactions per game, with fans most commonly asking questions related to ticketing, venue amenities and food and beverage choices inside a stadium.

“People will tell you what they want. We’re learning the demand side, [and] teams and facilities will be better at the supply side,” White said.
