Rockies Reach Multiyear Extension With AT&T SportsNet

The Rockies reached a multiyear extension with AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain, "ensuring Colorado baseball games on television for the immediate future," according to Kyle Newman of the DENVER POST. AT&T SportsNet will "carry at least 150 games a season as it continues to be Colorado's television home throughout the five-state Rocky Mountain region." An announcement "did not specify how long the deal is for, or how much." The Rockies' deal comes as the Nuggets and Avalanche are "amid a television quandary, with their home, Altitude Sports, having been dropped by local cable providers." Prior to the extension, AT&T SportsNet's contract with the Rockies ran through the '20 season (DENVER POST, 10/1).
