Aramark Takes Over As Mile High Concessionaire In 10-Year Deal

Aramark and Denver's Metropolitan Football Stadium District have "finalized a 10-year agreement" for the company to serve as the general concessionaire at Empower Field at Mile High, after the venue's previous contract with Centerplate expired, according to Kyle Fredrickson of the DENVER POST. Aramark had "operated on an interim contract at Mile High since February." As part of the new contract, a $20M commitment from Aramark is "required for concession upgrades," including a $7M rollout last Sunday. Advancements "included self-service checkouts, walk-through drink coolers, digital menu boards and more." Sunday's game against the Bears also marked the "introduction of mobile food and drink orders for club level guests with in-seat delivery offered at no additional charge." Aramark's contract with the stadium runs through March 31, 2029 (DENVER POST, 9/20).
