Sources: Charles Woodson Joining Fox For College, NFL Pregame Shows

Fox is hiring Charles Woodson as a studio analyst for both its college and NFL pregame shows, according to sources cited by Jacob Feldman of SI.com. Woodson, who left ESPN's "Sunday NFL Countdown" in February, is "slated to debut" on Fox' college-based "Big Noon Kickoff" show Sept. 21 ahead of the Michigan-Wisconsin game. Woodson, a Michigan alum, "won't be on every week but is expected to contribute repeatedly," including on Nov. 30 ahead of Ohio State-Michigan. Woodson "will also appear" on "Fox NFL Sunday," which has previously "hosted other occasional contributors such as active players" like Redskins CB Josh Norman and Panthers TE Greg Olsen. Fox reportedly "had an interest in Woodson" after he retired following the '15 NFL season, though he quickly signed with ESPN (SI.com, 9/13).
