Dew Tour Goes To Copper Mountain After 11 Years At Breckenridge
The Winter Dew Tour in '20 and '21 will move from Breckenridge to Copper Mountain Resort "thanks to a new partnership between the resort, Mountain Dew and Adventure Sports Network Group," according to Antonio Olivero of the SUMMIT DAILY NEWS. The move is the first for the event "in more than a decade, after the event took place for the past 11 years" at Breckenridge. The resort most recently hosted the Dew Tour last December. The upcoming version of the event, which will take place Feb. 6-9, will again include freeskiers and snowboarders "competing in individual halfpipe, slopestyle and para-snowboard competitions." The Dew Tour also will renew its "signature team challenge competition, which pits skiers and snowboarders from rival brands ... against one another." Copper Mountain also will host industry award shows, a new "invitational competition and fan-based activities" (SUMMIT DAILY NEWS, 9/9).
