Bills QB Josh Allen Embracing Business Deals In Buffalo Market

The off-field life of Bills QB Josh Allen has become a "healthy business, one that involves endorsement opportunities," spokesperson gigs and appearances, and the Bills fan base has "embraced" him, according to Tim O'Shei of the BUFFALO NEWS. Fans who visit the team store at New Era Field can "walk straight up to a tall display of all things" Allen, including T-shirts, photos, bobbleheads and more. Allen also is "visible and fairly accessible around Buffalo." New Era VP Josh Feine said of Allen, "He's everywhere. He's ingrained himself in this community. He's at Sabres games. He's at Bisons stuff. He's on local golf courses. He's embraced this community." O'Shei noted in his rookie season last year, Allen "appeared in promotions or posted social-media endorsements for several brands," including Microsoft Surface, Tommy Armour golf, Hyundai and Pro Football HOFer Michael Strahan's line of suits with JCPenney. Allen has "endorsement deals with Nike and New Era," and is a spokesperson for John R. Oishei Children's Hospital in Buffalo. He is "ranked No. 46 on the NFL Players Association's list of top 50 sales in merchandise and player products." Allen's representation, CAA Sports, "doesn't speak publicly about their client's deals," but their "strategy crafted for Allen seems to be following [a] patience-driven timeline" (BUFFALO NEWS, 9/5).
