In K.C., Pete Grathoff notes QBs Patrick Mahomes (Chiefs), Andrew Luck (Colts) and Dak Prescott (Cowboys) are "all featured in new ads" for DirecTV's NFL Sunday Ticket. Prescott was "part of the campaign last year and he’s in a new commercial, while Luck is in one this year, and there are two spots with Mahomes." In one of the commercials, Mahomes is "taking an ice bath when he discusses the benefits of streaming NFL games via Sunday Ticket with a janitor." The other is "for a deal with college students and it shows Mahomes in the huddle at Arrowhead Stadium" (K.C. STAR, 8/23).

THE WRITE WAY: WOMEN'S WEAR DAILY's Obi Anyanwu noted Novak Djokovic partnered with Germany-based luxury goods company Montblanc through his foundation to "create a limited-edition StarWalker writing instrument." The StarWalker special-edition Fineliner "retails for $740, comes with a matching notebook emblazoned with Djokovic’s signature, and is limited to only 300 pieces available exclusively at Montblanc stores" in N.Y., London and Paris and online in the U.S., U.K. and France (WWD.com, 8/22).

JOINING THE TEAM: Global valuation and corporate finance advisers Duff & Phelps signed a multiyear partnership with golfer Gary Woodland. He joins the company's existing roster of golf partners, including Bill Haas and Marina Alex. Woodland began wearing the Duff & Phelps logo on his shirt during the BMW Championship last week (Duff & Phelps).
