THE BIG LEAD's Ryan Glasspiegel cited sources as saying that Kevin Garnett's "Area 21" segments on TNT’s "Inside the NBA" and digital platforms "will not return" for the '19-20 season. Sources said that the decision was "not an acrimonious exit, and there could be ways that Garnett and TNT could collaborate on content down the line." Garnett had been contributing to TNT since '16 (THEBIGLEAD.com, 8/21). Meanwhile, former TNT sideline analyst Rosalyn Gold-Onwude starting today is hosting ESPN's "First Take" for a "series of shows" through August, September and beyond. She will be "filling in" for Molly Qerim (TWITTER.com, 8/21).

FRESH FACES: The Celtics yesterday debuted an exclusive five-part docu-series titled "Lucky Rooks." The series follows the four members of the team's '19 draft class: Romeo Langford, Grant Williams, Carsen Edwards and Tremont Waters. All episodes are available on the Celtics' Facebook, Instagram and YouTube channels (Celtics).

A NEW ERA: The first four episodes of “Miles To Go,” an 18-part series featuring the Univ. of Kansas football team and coach Les Miles, will be available to stream beginning Aug. 29 on the Big 12 Now channel within ESPN+. In Lawrence, Benton Smith notes KU will have "some editorial control" over the docu-series, which will have "weekly installments after the first four episodes drop." An ESPN spokesperson said that the episodes will "last approximately 18 to 20 minutes, generally, but the first four installments may be a bit longer" (LAWRENCE JOURNAL-WORLD, 8/22).
