Rams' Todd Gurley Latest Athlete To Join Hulu's Live Sports Campaign

The next phase of the "Hulu Sellouts" campaign heading into the NFL season will star Rams RB Todd Gurley and a "cat influencer," according to Kyle O'Brien of the THE DRUM. The new spot features Gurley, a self-proclaimed "cat dude," as the newest #HuluSellout along with the "hottest cat influencer in the game -- Mr Hulu Has Live Sports -- who happens to have an official verified Instagram account of his own." In the spot, the cat appears in a "football stadium set, playing and jumping for a ball." It then pans out to show that the video is "being watched by Gurley at home with a friend." The "Hulu Sellouts" campaign, which first debuted during NBA All-Star Weekend in February, will "air additional spots in September" (THEDRUM.com, 8/19). USA TODAY's Cameron DaSilva noted Gurley  did a "90s-inspired photoshoot with his cat" for the campaign. Gurley is joining other Hulu endorsers like 76ers C Joel Embiid and Bucks F Giannis Antetokounmpo (USATODAY.com, 8/20).
