D-Backs' Derrick Hall Says Priority On Arizona Amid Nevada Report

D-backs President & CEO Derrick Hall addressed the report of the team meeting with Henderson, Nev., officials, saying at the "end of day, this is where we are and this is where I want to be," according to Jeremy Cluff of the ARIZONA REPUBLIC. Hall said the team is "still focused on Arizona." Hall: "All along we’ve wanted to stay right here and find a solution. Whether it’s downtown at Chase Field or somewhere in Maricopa County." Hall "denied that the team was using its talks with Henderson as leverage" for a new ballpark. Hall: "We’re not in a position where we would use it as leverage." More Hall: "Relationships today are so much better than they were. There were some rough times there a couple years ago and I think we all had to go through that" (ARIZONA REPUBLIC, 8/3).
