Misfits Gaming Hires Fox' Greg Stangel For Sales, Sponsor Relations

Stangel will work on monetizing home matches next year as the OWL switches to its full home/away modelmisfits gaming

Misfits Gaming named Fox Networks Group Senior VP/Global Solutions GREG STANGEL CRO, giving him oversight of the organization’s sales and sponsor relations efforts -- including with the Florida Mayhem Overwatch League team. Stangel -- who also has former stints at CAA Sports, the Mets and the NHL -- will work on monetizing the Mayhem’s home matches next year as the OWL switches to its full home/away model. Misfits co-Founder & CEO BEN SPOONT in a statement noted Stangel’s prior work “hugely impressed us and his passion and excitement for esports give us confidence that he will help us create great value for partners, brands, and Misfits Gaming and Florida Mayhem fans."
