NBA Promotes Leah MacNab To NBA Canada Managing Dir

The NBA has tabbed NBA Canada Senior Dir of Global Marketing Partnerships LEAH MACNAB to fill the position of Managing Dir. She replaces DAN MACKENZIE, who leaves the league on Aug. 15 to become the first full-time president of the Canadian Hockey League. MacKenzie joined the NBA in '98 and spent the last eight years in his current role. MacNab has been with the NBA since '05 and now will be responsible for overseeing the league’s basketball and business operations in Canada, and continuing to grow the game and the NBA throughout the country. She reports to NBA Deputy Commissioner & COO MARK TATUM. MacNab has been in her current position at the NBA since '15, where she has led the league’s partnership business in Canada that saw a record 32 sponsors activate throughout the country last season.
