SBJ/SBD Hires Eileen Silvergleid As Its First Ever CRO

Sports Business Journal/Daily has hired EILEEN SILVERGLEID as its first ever CRO, where she will oversee all revenue, including ad sales, conference sponsorship, partnerships and circulation. Silvergleid brings more than 20 years of experience leading various sales and account management teams in the C-level professional services industry, most recently for research and advisory firm Gartner. In her new role, Silvergleid will be responsible for the performance, strategy and alignment of all SBJ/SBD revenue operations. She will be based in N.Y. and report to SBJ/SBD Publisher & Exec Editor ABE MADKOUR. "I’m excited to welcome Eileen to SBJ,” said Madkour. “As we look across all our current and future revenue streams for the company, she will be instrumental in building sales and marketing, growing our client base, ideating new products and further enhancing our partnership strategy. Her deep understanding of sales, marketing, product development and the customer journey -- coupled with her intelligence, energy and leadership style -- are going to be a valuable addition as we continue to expand our media company’s footprint and uphold our position as the authoritative voice of sports business."
