Oklahoma City police are "investigating a potential death threat from an angered fan" who left voicemails "threatening the Thunder's front office," coach BILLY DONOVAN and Exec VP & GM SAM PRESTI (N.Y. POST, 7/20). According to court documents cited by Oklahoma City-based KOCO-ABC, authorities are "investigating a man claiming to be from Virginia who called the team offices and left two voicemails containing death threats after the team traded" F PAUL GEORGE (WASHINGTON POST, 7/21)....In another basketball-related legal case, court documents filed this week show WNBA Seattle Storm F NATASHA HOWARD "denied domestic-abuse allegations made public last weekend by her wife, JACQUELINE HOWARD." Natasha Howard in the documents said that she is "broke because Jacqueline emptied her bank account" (SEATTLE TIMES, 7/20).
