Franchise Notes

In Akron, Nate Ulrich noted all of the tickets to the Browns' 15 open training camp practices scheduled this summer at the team's Berea HQ "have been claimed." The "second wave" of ticket availability began Wednesday at 10:00am ET, and "all of those tickets were gone" by approximately 11:30am. During the first wave on June 26, tickets for the first eight practices were "claimed in approximately one hour." Meanwhile, tickets for the Orange and Brown Scrimmage on Aug. 3 are "still available" for $5 per person on ClevelandBrowns.com (OHIO.com, 7/11).

EXCLUSIVE CLUB: Atlanta United President Darren Eales said the team has "over 36,000 season ticket holders," and had a "renewal rate" of 94% from last year. Eales: "That just shows you how exciting it is. We've actually got over 13,000 on the waiting list. Our waiting list for season tickets grows every single month" (AJC.com, 7/11).

HOTTEST TICKET IN TITLETOWN: In Green Bay, Richard Ryman notes a handful of Packers shareholders are "trying to sell tickets to the annual shareholders meeting." There were at least "six listings on Craigslist Thursday offering to sell shareholders meeting tickets, ranging from $5 to $26 per ticket." The Packers "actively discourage this sort of commerce." Packers Dir of Public Affairs Aaron Popkey said that shareholders "agreed when they purchased shares that they would do nothing to try to profit from being a shareholder" (GREEN BAY PRESS-GAZETTE, 7/12).
