A statue of former USWNT star BRANDI CHASTAIN was "unveiled at the Rose Bowl" yesterday, commemorating the '99 World Cup-winning team. Chastain spoke at the unveiling and "captivated the crowd of around 100 people gathered outside the Rose Bowl." The statue shows Chastain "on her knees, arms clinched, holding her jersey in her right hand -- recreating the iconic image" of her scoring the winning goal against China.
