Entercom Regional President Susan Larkin said the company is "all in" on WFAN Yankees broadcasters John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman. Larkin said, "If John wants to do this and John is healthy, we love it. And same thing for Suzyn. That team is tremendous." She added, "They make that game so interesting to listen to. ... They’re amazing" (NEWSDAY, 6/30).

GET WELL SOON: In N.Y., Bob Raissman noted Michael Kay has "lost his voice" and the timetable for his return to YES and ESPN Radio 98.7 N.Y. is "uncertain." Kay has been dealing with a condition the "past two weeks" that caused him to lose his voice. On Tuesday, he had to leave his radio show and did not work the Blue Jays-Yankees game that evening. On Wednesday, he also did not work the Jays-Yankees day game. Kay was scheduled to attend 98.7’s “Beach Bash” on Friday. YES President of Production & Programming John Filippelli said, "He is resting his voice and listening to his doctors. We look forward to Michael returning to the booth" (N.Y DAILY NEWS, 6/29).

MATTER SETTLED: K.C.-based WHB-AM host Kevin Kietzman and station owner Union Broadcasting "reached a mutual agreement to part ways" after Kietzman was suspended for comments he made about Chiefs coach Andy Reid's family. Kietzman was a "part-owner and key on-air personality at the station" (KANSASCITY.com, 6/28). Kietzman in his comments had "tried to draw a link" between Reid’s family life and the team's "handling of child abuse allegations" levied against WR Tyreek Hill (USATODAY.com, 6/28).
