USF yesterday formally unveiled its new football uniforms, and in Tampa, Joey Knight writes they "appear nearly identical" to the '18 threads with "one significant exception." Knight: "The new duds are cooler." The Adidas WVN A1 threads will be "lighter and provide better ventilation." USF also indicated it will be the "only team in the nation wearing the WVN A1 uniform this season" (TAMPA BAY TIMES, 6/19).

HOME COOKING: USA TODAY's Tess Demeyer noted Jaguars LB Myles Jack is running a "booming business" out of his kitchen. Less than two months into his first entrepreneurial venture, Jack is "overwhelmed by orders" for his hand-poured candles. He "intends to spread the funds he raises throughout" the Jacksonville community. He is "in talks with the Boys & Girls Club and has plans to visit disabled veterans, children’s hospitals and retirement homes." As of June 3, he had "sold $11,870.50 worth of candles to customers from Australia to Denmark" (USATODAY.com, 6/18).

OFF ROADING: Homestead-Miami Speedway announced a new deal with Mahindra USA, the U.S. branch of Indian carmaker and Formula E entrant Mahindra, that will see the company promote its new Roxor off-road vehicle plus its tractor brand with the track. The deal includes a digital content campaign and at-track activation at the Ford Championship Weekend in November. It was unclear whether the deal includes assets at other ISC tracks (Adam Stern, THE DAILY).
