Purdue Football Ticket Sales Over 20,000 Two Months Before Season

Purdue football is on track to have its "highest season-ticket sales in over 10 seasons," as sales are already "in the 21,500-range" over two months before the school's first home game, according to Tom Dienhart of RIVALS. The last time Purdue "pushed past 24,000 season tickets" was in '13, and sales "were last in the 25-30,000 range" in '07. Purdue Dir of Ticket Operations & Analytics Brian Fordyce said, "I think we’ll go over 10,000 for student ticket sales. We were 10 last year. Our goal is 10,500 this year." After the high numbers in '13, season ticket sales "plummeted, falling to as low as 12,168" in '16 (RIVALS.com, 6/11).
