FIFA President GIANNI INFANTINO secured a second term "by acclamation" yesterday after "running unopposed for the sport’s top job." A statute change announced this week "meant delegates from soccer’s 211 national governing bodies did not have to take a vote at the FIFA Congress in Paris to show their support" for Infantino as he "sought a full four-year term." Infantino is "just the latest soccer leader to win re-election unopposed" (N.Y. TIMES, 6/6).

EXECS: Search firm Prodigy Sports announced the following promotions: MARK GRESS JR. to Partner; DAN ROSSETTI to Principal Consultant; KEVIN CARMICHAEL to Managing Consultant; MEGAN MEISSE to Senior Recruiter; OMAR SANDIMANIE to Recruiter; ASHLEY EISENSTEIN to Research Associate; and LINDSAY MARKERT to Database Associate (Prodigy Sports)....The USHL named league club Chicago Steel Media Relations Coordinator BRENT MESKE Dir of Media & Communications (USHL)....The Univ. of St. Joseph named Univ. of Hartford Senior Associate AD AMANDA DEVITT AD, succeeding BILL CARDARELLI. St. Joseph in April had named New England College AD LOU IZZI as its new AD, but the school yesterday said that Izzi had made "other choices" (COURANT.com, 6/5).
