Penn National Gaming and VICI Properties are buying the Greektown Casino-Hotel from Dan GilbertGETTY IMAGES

Four members of the Michigan Gaming Control Board "gave final approval" on Tuesday for the $1B sale of Cavaliers Owner DAN GILBERT's Greektown Casino-Hotel, which will become final "later this week." The regulators "voted unanimously in favor of the sale" by Gilbert's Jack Entertainment to two "casino-related firms: casino operator Penn National Gaming and a real estate investment trust, VICI Properties" (DETROIT FREE PRESS, 5/22).

THE GOOD STUFF: Eagles OT LANE JOHNSON is "donating $500,000 to Kilgore College to help build a state-of-the-art training facility for all Rangers athletes," which will be called "The Lane" Athletic Performance Center (PHILLY.com, 5/22)....Colts QB ANDREW LUCK yesterday "entertained more than a dozen energetic kids, reading books and passing around footballs" at the Indianapolis Children's Museum (INDYSTAR.com, 5/22)....Former MLBer BERNIE WILLIAMS yesterday went to DC to "secure funding for music and the arts in public schools," where he met with "over a dozen Congressional representatives" (NORTHJERSEY.com, 5/22).
