More Under Armour Endorsers Joining Curry For Asian Hoops Tour

Warriors G Stephen Curry "will join three other Under Armour athletes" in Japan and China at the end of June for his fifth tour of Asia with the brand to "promote its basketball offerings," according to Lorraine Mirabella of the BALTIMORE SUN. Curry "will kick off events" in Tokyo on June 22, then travel to Beijing and Shanghai with 76ers C Joel Embiid, Knicks G Dennis Smith Jr. and Magic C Mo Bamba. The four players will "take part in youth coaching and product launch events across each city" (BALTIMORESUN.com, 5/15). In Baltimore, Holden Wilen noted this will mark the "first time multiple Under Armour basketball endorsers participate in the roadshow." The tour is part of UA's "effort to continue increasing sales in the fast-growing Asia-Pacific region" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 5/15).
