The World Pro Ski Tour hired former IMG and Glory Sports Int'l exec JON FRANKLIN as its first CEO. Franklin was most recently Glory Sports Chief Development Officer and previously served as CEO of that kickboxing promotion company. He formerly worked at IMG, which served as the agent to WPST in the '90s. Franklin also worked as an agent to individual skiers. The WPST was founded in '76 and was headquartered in Bath, Maine, but is being relocated to the Denver area (Liz Mullen, THE DAILY).

EXECS: The XFL named L.A. attorney BRIAN MICHAEL COOPER President of the league's team in Houston. Cooper previously served as a senior associate AD at Rice and president of the NBA G League Rio Grande Valley Vipers (XFL)....Maple Leafs President BRENDAN SHANAHAN has signed a six-year extension with the club through the '24-25 NHL season (Maple Leafs)....OverActive Media, the parent company of the Overwatch League's Toronto Defiant, named Weston Foods CFO JASON TOLEDANO to the same position (OAM)....Tennis Channel named former Fox VP/Advertising Sales TIMOTHY ATHANS Dir of Strategic Partnerships (Tennis Channel)....The ECHL Reading Royals named Comcast Business Account Exec JOHN GINDER Business Development Manager (Reading Royals).
