CAA Leads Agencies At NFL Draft With Six Players Taken Thursday

CAA Football for the fourth year in a row led all agencies with six players picked in the first round of the NFL Draft, highlighted by No. 2 pick Nick Bosa (49ers), No. 5 pick Devin White (Buccaneers) and No. 6 pick Daniel Jones (Giants). Lagardere Sports had four clients drafted and tied CAA with three players represented in the top 10 -- No. 4 pick Clelin Ferrell (Raiders), No. 7 pick Josh Allen (Jaguars) and No. 9 pick Ed Oliver (Bills). It was the 14th year in a row that Lagardere’s Joel Segal had multiple first round picks. Together, CAA and Lagardere combined for 10 of the 32 players drafted. No. 12 pick Rashan Gary (Packers) launched Rashan Gary Sports, his own agency, in Dec. ‘18, and was repped for the Draft by Ian Clarke, an independent agent. There were 18 different agencies to represent players picked in the first round, up from 17 last year.
