In Philadelphia, Jeff Blumenthal noted law firm Cozen O'Connor signed golfer Jason Kokrak to a one-year shirt sponsorship deal "with a Cozen option that includes performance-based incentives." Cozen O’Connor CEO Michael Heller said that the deal is a "similar arrangement to the one signed with William McGirt, a shirt sponsorship in which Kokrak will wear a shirt with Cozen’s logo emblazoned on the left side of his chest in every tournament," starting with the PGA Tour RBC Heritage in Hilton Head, S.C. this weekend. He will also "participate in client events and meet and greets" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 4/18).

SPORT YOUR SQUAD: Michigan has unveiled four state license plates "featuring the logos" of Detroit's pro teams. As with other "special cause license plates, $25 of the $35 purchase fee and the entire $10 renewal fee each year will go toward one of the four team foundations: Detroit Lions Charities, Detroit Pistons Foundation, Detroit Red Wings Foundation, and Detroit Tigers Foundation." The specialized plates "can be used only on passenger cars, pickups, vans and motor homes" (DETROIT FREE PRESS, 4/17).

WAKE UP: Dodgers P Walker Buehler and Rockies SS Trevor Story star in a new spot for High Brew Coffee, as part of the Austin-based brand's "Brought Together High Brew" campaign. Buehler and Story will also be visible in various point of sale ads wherever High Brew Coffee is sold (High Brew).
